Lake Louise Inn Building 5 Phase 01
Project Type: Hotel Renovation
Completed: 2018
Location: Lake Louise, Alberta
Contractor: Delnor Construction Ltd.

Situated within the heart of the Canadian Rockies, the Lake Louise Inn is a recognized in-demand resort for all seasons. For this mountain hotel renovation, we were tasked with helping them ensure the views inside the Inn matched the stunning ones offered by Banff’s world-famous National Park.
The first of Lake Louise Inn’s five buildings, our project would set the tone for a consistent design theme to be carried on throughout the other four. To ensure the evolution of these spaces offered an impact worthy of the endeavor, we started by completely gutting the existing rooms before introducing all new custom designs, finishes, fixtures, and furniture.
Split into two phases, the first phase focused on the design of a deluxe guest suite with two Queen beds and a junior suite that included a fully equipped kitchenette, pull-out sofa bed, sofa wall bed and an electric fireplace.
Our “Modern Mountain” concept integrated simplistic designs and furnishings with polished finishes that incorporate warm wood tones, greys, plaids, tobacco colored vinyl, black accents and tone-on-tone motifs that mimic the native mountain-like colors and a natural feel that surrounds us.
For the remaining buildings Loop designed, we incorporated unique designs to suit various room configurations, without losing touch of the themes established in the first building.
